These are hand stitched flowers from EmersonMade made by, well the Emersons! This is wild, I remember scouring the internet 7 months ago for a good ol' inspiration and stumbled over these 2 pictures:
In fact, i had the second photo as my desktop wallpaper for a good few months! I remember randomly saving the photo and later tried to track back where i got it, but failed. Until a few days ago, i stumbled onto the EmersonMade photos. Fell in love with the flowers, wished i had the creativity to come up with something original like that, and only after a few days i realized that, hey, i that flower does look familiar! Yeah, it's been staring at me for months on the computer.
I'll take note of the kraft paper table runner as well. It's so simple yet so nice. Nicefully done Emersons.

It's actually the daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow's bedroom in her 4,440 sqft penthouse in Tribeca NY where she lives with her rocker Chris Martin. Everything is so white and it looks so good but i know it will be very hard to mantain it!

I'm so hooked on to Bobbi Brown at the moment! It all started when i wanted to get myself a concealer and ended up buying a corrector and a creamy concealer kit. I swear by the corrector, i really do. The sales assistant then threw in 2 sample packs of the EXTRA eye cream repair. Which is real heavy duty stuff which i wear it only before going to sleep because it's so oily, in hopes that it does its repair while i sleep.
Then, i got a cute mail in the post from them saying that i've got 3 complimentary skincare and liquid foundation samples, which i chose the Vitamin E Enriched Foundation Base, Hydrating Eye Cream and Luminous Mosturizing Foundation. And oh my, I've never really worn foundation due to my early years when i was performing in the orchestra and the teachers forced us to slap on some stuff they call foundation which makes us look like ghosts in pictures. Since then i stayed away from foundation. But this Luminous Mosturizing Foundation truly changed it, man. I love the smell and how it blends in into the skin. I dont think i can live without you anymore.

I'm very much influenced by the shows on AFC where they freshly chop the herbs from the pots sitting nicely in their window sil. My favourite herb is oregano, i put it in almost everything! But I've yet to try using the fresh ones. For those staying in an apartment, the windows aren't conviently located above the kitchen sink, sadly. However, Aino Kitchen's Santuario gives just the flexibility to do that. Pretty neat.
Else, if you have a big balcony, you can always plant your herbs there. Just like what Susann Larsson did, as read from Apartment Therapy, it doesnt look that hard to create a terraced herb garden.
I can't wait to get my own herb garden! I'm so going to plant curry leaves! Wait, is that herb or spice?
