Closet Dreams

We all know girls dream of having a huge superstar walk in closet. Here are some celebrity closets picked out from InStyle to make you drool.

Christina Auguilera.
She has a chandelier and a leopard print rug!
The pretty Olivia Wilde.
I had a crush on her in The O.C.

Anyway, her closet is chedar-lined and her dressing table is a real vintage from 19th Century! Quoting her, "It's from the South of France and has never been restored."And she has a chandelier too! A black one!

Eva Longoria Parker.
Her closet is 133sq ft and she has a ladder to pick out things! She is as tall as me by the way. Or should i say as cute as me. Bleargh.

Kimora Lee Simmons.
I just saw her closet on Celebrity Home last night on E Channel where they try to re-create her 4,000sq ft closet! That's bigger than most of our homes! She has a wet bar, tv, a vintage Louise Vuitton chest, a leopard print carpet (again!). Basically people hang out at her closet!

Mariah Carey.
I have no idea what's the size of her closet but it's freaking climate controlled?? I dont know what the hell that means.

Now lets get a little closer to home. Maxim Wardrobe seems to offer lots of solutions. I've been to the showroom in Taman Tun and their clients include Xandria Ooi, Amber Chia and Eric from Casa Impian. Lets take a look at Xandria's wardrobe from Maxim.

I guess Maxim is able to definitely do a great job for your wardrobe but it would relatively be on the high side, probably because of their high quality finishings (and A-list clients!). If you want to create your own walk in closet, there's a lot of other companies that can do it for less. In fact, any contractor can do it for you, but you have to be smart about it and monitor the quality of their work, see their past work and if possible get feedback from their past clients. Anyway, will talk about that in probably another post.
